Our Story

The Tigard Safe Grads team is made up of Tigard parents, alumni, and community members who share one goal: giving Tigard High School seniors an all-night celebration that’s fun and safe. Every year we host a drug- and alcohol-free event packed with food, games, prizes and memories. It’s more than a party—it’s the moment you mark your achievement, surrounded by peers and supported by your community.

How It Works & What We Offer

We fund this celebration through donations from local businesses, generous community groups, and dedicated volunteers. We also provide scholarships so no senior misses out because of cost. On event night you’ll find:

  • A safe venue delivered by bus from Tigard High, with a secure return trip.

  • Food, fun, prizes, games—and a night you’ll remember with your friends.

  • Inclusive support: Any graduating senior is welcome regardless of background or circumstance.

This tradition only works because of local support and leadership. Our current leadership includes:

  • Vice President - Drew Harris

  • Treasurer - Kristen Sherman

  • Secretary - Kristen Harrison

Team & Community Involvement

Behind the leadership are dozens of volunteers, generous donors, local businesses and alumni who believe in celebrating Tigard’s seniors. We hold monthly planning meetings, invite new volunteers from all parts of the community, and welcome fresh ideas.
